During 2016 Ida Nauta has lived in Cambodia for 5 months. During her stay she started the "Art Bag" project which featured at an art-exhibition in the capital, Phnom Penh. The theme was "The gap between rich and poor". "Art Bags" were created by painting paper bags on all five sides. Each "Art Bag" tells its own story. From a useless object she created something of value. This is known as upcycling or creative reuse. Her "Art Bag" project takes a stance against the increasing waste production.
